The TPP seems like a final corporate takeover of the world, as if it needed any more boosts. But this is definitely another severe notch into the sovereignty of nations and communities which becomes at the total legal mercy of the corporations and their rules.
The antidote is always people power in the streets, and in withdrawing our support from and noncooperating with the capitalist system. This is very radical because it requires a thorough and comprehensive downsizing of our materialist lives enabled by local cooperation and creating thousands of bioregional food sufficient communities. This, in effect, re-visits the social unit of our evolutionary biology – small sufficient groups working in cooperation with one another.
